DONATE A MEAL PROGRAM

Did you know there is a way to support local restaurants and businesses all while providing young people with a meal?

Our new Donate a Meal Program is looking to give our clients at The Ground Floor filling and delicious lunches that will help carry them through the day. While at The Ground Floor, youth can also connect with supportive adults, receive basic needs items such as food, clothing and gear for sleeping outside and connect with other resources that will help them end their experience of homelessness.

Lunch should serve 15-20 hungry young adults.  Please note that due to Department of Health restrictions, we are not accepting home cooked meals at this time.  All food must be prepackaged, purchased from a restaurant or made in a commercial kitchen. Additionally, lunches should be individually wrapped and not family style.

Lunches can be dropped off from 10:30am-12:00pm at The Ground Floor at 2500 E. Street. The entrance is in the basement of the First Congregational Church of Bellingham with a separate entrance on the West side of the building.

For a list of suggested local items, please click here.

Volunteers are asked to please just drop off food, and not serve at this time.

Please email rowans@nwys.org with any questions!

Your donation is greatly appreciated and fully deductible as a charitable contribution. Northwest Youth Services is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID 91-0970561.

Thank you to the following local businesses for supporting our program this month!
