QUEER YOUTH PROJECT
The Queer Youth Project (QYP) is a support system and community advocate for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ+) youth across our region.
Our team offers:

School-based youth supports, individual and in groups

Consulting and professional development for providers across professional disciplines

Trans Fashion Treasury: items to support youth who are transitioning or exploring their gender identity to include chest binders, make up, name change fees and more

Support and referrals for parents and guardians caring for an LGBTQ+ young person

Free counseling for LGBTQ+ young people with Queer informed providers

Referrals to community providers and resources which are equipped to support LGBTQ+ youth and their families

Monthly Queer Youth Gatherings, a supportive space for LGBTQ+ and allied teens on the 3rd Friday of each month, 4-6 p.m. at the Ground Floor at Bellingham First Congregational Church. All Queer Youth Gatherings are facilitated by QYP staff and volunteers
