Yesterday's luncheon was truly incredible, bringing together a diverse and inspiring group of individuals. The energy and love in the room were palpable as almost 200 people gathered to celebrate our shared purpose.
Two of our young speakers stole the show with their heartfelt words, reminding us of the importance of investing in the next generation. We also had the opportunity to hear from passionate staff members and supporters, who expressed their belief in our mission and the impact of our work.
The event was not only about celebrating but also about learning. Each table was assigned a different service area, allowing attendees to delve deeper into how we support youth in moving from surviving to thriving. One of the most memorable moments of the luncheon was Remy Styrkowicz's captivating video presentation. Through his storytelling, he vividly depicted the essence of our mission, highlighting the crucial need for support within our community. His portrayal of the 48,000 neighbors who need support underscored the collective effort required to make a meaningful impact, leaving a profound impression on all who viewed it.
We're thrilled to announce that we raised about $32,000, bringing our total to $82,000 with our donor match of $50,000. We're still pushing towards our goal of $100,000, fueled by the momentum of yesterday's gathering.
