Outreach
Our staff are present on the street and connected to the places where young people first voice their need for help.

Mobile Resource Hub
We have a service van that provides:
-
Free food, hygiene items, and other essential goods.
-
A listening ear and zero judgment.
-
An introduction to our services.
It’s like NWYS on wheels! Friendly faces offering trust and care.
The van makes regular visits to Whatcom, Skagit, and Island counties, as well as the traditional lands of the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe.
Keep an eye out and say hi if you see us!
Community Connections
We have ties to organizations and offices across the region to ensure we can be there for the people who need us.
These include connections with:
-
School administrators and counselors.
-
Juvenile detention officials.
-
Social services organizations.
These partners are often the first to encounter teens and young adults who might benefit from our services. They put us in touch so we can offer young people the healing, hopeful solutions they may not be able to find elsewhere.
