Walk-in Hours

Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday

9 AM - 1 PM

2500 E St. Bellingham, WA

The HUSLY Shelter (Housing Under Served Low-Income Youth) provides temporary housing for young adults aged 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. With locations in both Bellingham and Mount Vernon, HUSLY offers four beds at each site, where young adults can stay for up to 90 days

Access to HUSLY is through our main application process and is not based on a first-come, first-served basis. Once enrolled, youth work closely with a Case Manager to assess their longer-term housing options. Additionally, participants have access to other support services offered by Northwest Youth Services (NWYS), including employment and education support.

Please note that if immediate shelter is needed, the Lighthouse Mission in Bellingham and Friendship House in Mount Vernon may be able to provide assistance more quickly.

Other Housing Programs

NWYS offers additional housing programs for young people aged 18-24, including long-term vouchers with wraparound services. For more information about these programs, please contact Northwest Youth Services directly.
