Tonight in our community, at least 500 young people do not have a place to call home.

Only together can we end youth homelessness and empower young people to build a solid foundation for their future.

Northwest Youth Services

For 50 years, Northwest Youth Services has been a doorway to safety and a pathway to progress for thousands of young people in our region and with your donation we can continue to work across Whatcom, Skagit, and Island Counties to end youth homelessness and empower young people to build a solid foundation for their future. You help keep doors open, lights on, warm food on the table, and support in place for youth who have nowhere else to turn.

Housing

We offer a continuum of safe, supportive housing to youth ages 13-24. From the first night until a permanent solution is found, our doors are always open.

Basic Needs & Belonging

At our drop-in centers, we provide a warm, home-like environment with food, clothing, laundry facilities, showers, and most importantly, a place to rest, connect, and restore dignity. Our outreach teams also bring supplies and care to youth throughout the region.

Family & Stability Support

Youth receive individualized support to pursue education or employment, reconnect with family or caring adults, and build lasting stability through community and resources.

Annual Report

We embrace a healing-centered approach through Learning, Connecting, and Creating. This involves constantly asking ourselves: What are young people learning, and what are we learning? How are we creating and building young people's social capital? In what ways are we connecting them to wellness through a healing journey? Our ultimate goal is to uplift young individuals beyond the duration of our services.
